FAMILY TIES: Building a Communication Bridge Between Parents and Adolescents
24 May – 8:30 to 11am – A Workshop for Green School Parents
Living together in a family should be a fun and loving adventure, not a battle of wills. This workshop for Green School Parents will explore the unique workings of the adolescent brain in action. This will lay a foundation for seeing the world through the eyes of your adolescent child(ren) and for then practicing some strategies to build a foundation for mutually harmonious and respectful communication and interaction. When each member of the family takes ownership of how and what they contribute, in both positive and disrupting ways, everyone wins.
