This three-day, training session focuses on using action methods (especially sociodrama, applied role theory, and role analysis) with businesses and organizations. The workshop will focus on using these techniques with management and/or staff to build a better sense of team, to find solutions to problems and issues in a non-judgmental way,and to provide a clear framework for organizational development.
Action approaches are extremely useful in working within organizations, both in the for-profit and non-profit sector. They level the playing field by allowing participants to see their job descriptions not in terms of hierarchy or status, but in terms of role descriptions. Each role is essential to the operation of the organization or business. Working in action is fun, and allows the healing power of laughter to enter the training while decreasing resistance to looking honestly at interpersonal dynamics.
This workshop will be of practical use to consultants who work within the business world and/or the non-profit sector; for managers and human resource officers of businesses or organizations; and for counselors and therapists who work with groups of any kind.
